“Self-care is how you take your power back.” - Lalah Delia
CloudBreak Counseling was born from a vision that took shape during a time of great uncertainty. In 2020, as the world began to shift, I felt a strong pull to create something meaningful in the community where I grew up. I recognized the growing need for compassionate, specialized mental health care—and I knew I wanted to be part of that change.
At CloudBreak, our mission is simple: to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you navigate life’s most difficult moments. My focus is on grief and trauma work, and I hold certifications in EMDR and Flash Therapy, as well as training as a certified Death Doula. These approaches allow me to offer gentle, effective care for those carrying deep pain and unresolved experiences.
Throughout my career, I’ve witnessed how barriers—like complicated insurance systems or the fear of facing the past—can hold people back from getting the help they deserve. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space that honors your story, your resilience, and your capacity for healing.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll likely find me with a good book or spending time with loved ones—recharging, just like we all need to.
Mental health has always been more than a career for me—it’s a calling. The hope I’ve seen in the eyes of so many clients has been the light guiding me toward opening CloudBreak Counseling Services. Just like the name suggests, once the clouds begin to part, the sun starts to shine through.
